PG Diploma Courses in ICT at Centre for Development of Advanced Computing

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), a scientific society of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, carrying out Research and Development (R&D) in IT, electronics and associated areas has invited applications for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma Courses in ICT March 2022 Batch.

PG Diploma Programs offered are in (i) Advanced Computing (PG-DAC) (ii) Big Data Analytics (PG-DBDA) (iii) Artificial Intelligence (PG-DAI) (iv) Mobile Computing (PG-DMC) (v) Advanced Secure Software Development (PG-DASSD) (vi) Robotics & Allied Technologies (PG-DRAT) (vii) Geoinformatics (PG-DGi) (viii) Embedded Systems Design (PG-DESD) (ix) IT Infrastructure, Systems & Security (PG-DITISS) (x) Internet of Things (PG-DIoT)(xi) VLSI Design (PG-DVLSI) (xii) HPC System Administration (PG-DHPCSA).

The courses are full-time courses of 900 hours (approximately 30 weeks). PG-DAC, PG-DBDA, PG-DAI, PG-DMC, PG-DASSD, PG-DRAT and PG-DGi will be delivered in fully online mode while, PG-DESD, PG-DITISS, PG-DIoT, PG-DVLSI and PG-DHPCSA will be delivered in hybrid (online and physical) mode of delivery.

Common Eligibility Criteria: Graduate in Engineering (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation or MSc/MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics with Mathematics in 10+2.

In addition to the common eligibility criteria, those with course specific qualifications mentioned in the Admission Booklet March 2022 available at https://www.cdac.in are also eligible for admission to the particular courses. Minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination is also given in the Admission Booklet.

PG Diploma Courses in ICT at Centre for Development of Advanced Computing

Admissions to all PG Diploma courses will be through C-DAC’s Common Admission Test (C-CAT) that will be conducted in computerised mode physically at C-DAC’s test centres on January 22 and January 23, 2022.

C-CAT has three sections (Section A, Section B, Section C) of one hour duration each. Depending on the category of courses selected by the candidate, he/she will have to either appear for just one test paper (Section A) or two test papers (Section A and Section B) or all the three test papers (Section A, Section B and Section C). The syllabus for each section will be as follows. Section A: English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning; Section: B Computer Fundamentals, C Programming, Data Structures, Object Oriented Programming Concepts, Operating Systems; Section C: Computer Architecture, Digital Electronics, Microprocessors.

The medium of C-CAT will be English. Details are given in the Admission Booklet.
