It's not the fastest processor on the market, but it's competent for most workflows, has a healthy number of CPUs, and getting decent integrated graphics at this price is a steal. The Ryzen 7 5700G is an objectively better processor with two additional CPUs, more threads, and a higher boost speed, but not everyone can afford a $359 processor.
